Questions

Frequently asked questions.

If something here is unclear, please ask us before you purchase.

Am I buying land or a plot in Italy?
No. You are purchasing a five-year tree dedication. You do not acquire a deed, title, lease, equity, profit share, or any investment interest, and no part of this offering is real estate.
Is the tree already planted?
Not yet. This is a founding campaign: trees are reserved now and planted during the scheduled planting season. Your five-year dedication term begins on the actual planting date, not on the purchase date.
Do I have to pay every year?
No. No annual dues are required to preserve your dedication during the included five-year term. Before the term ends we will contact you to discuss optional ways to continue your family's tribute.
Is olive oil included?
No. Olive oil is not included in the founding dedication. We may introduce an optional olive oil offering in the future from a clearly identified producer; you can join the interest list with no obligation.
What happens if the tree dies?
If your dedicated tree does not survive during the included five-year period, we replace it when agriculturally appropriate, keep your dedication and plaque, notify you, and share an updated photograph when available.
Can ashes be scattered or buried at the grove?
No. The grove is a working olive grove and a peaceful place of remembrance. It is not a cemetery or burial ground, and dedications do not include burial or ashes-placement rights.
Will my tree look like the mature trees in your photographs?
Not at first. Your dedicated olive tree will begin as a young tree and grow over time as the grove becomes established. Images of mature groves are inspirational or illustrative and are labeled as such.
Can I visit?
You can tell us you would like to. We are not yet hosting visitors and we do not accept payment or confirm reservations for visits. Share your interest and we will contact you when visits become possible.
