- What am I purchasing?
- A five-year dedication of one olive tree in the mountain countryside of southern Italy, with a personalized plaque, a permanent Tree ID, an engraved QR code and a private digital Legacy Page where your family preserves that person's story.
- Is this land ownership?
- No. You do not receive a deed, title, lease, equity, profit share or any investment interest. No part of this offering is real estate, and dedications do not include burial or ashes-placement rights.
- When will my tree be planted?
- Planting is scheduled once the founding campaign reaches 250 dedications. Planting takes place during the scheduled planting season on our family land. Your Legacy Page opens immediately; planting status only changes when something has actually happened in the grove.
- How long does the dedication last?
- One payment covers a full five-year dedication term. The term begins on the day the tree is planted, not on the day you pay.
- Are there annual fees?
- No annual dues are required to keep your dedication, plaque or Legacy Page during the included five-year term. Before the term ends we will contact you about optional ways to continue your family's tribute. Nothing renews automatically and nothing is charged without your consent.
- Is olive oil included?
- Olive oil is not part of any dedication package. If a responsibly sourced Italian olive oil offering becomes available in the future it will be entirely optional, separately priced, and from a clearly identified producer. Joining the interest list costs nothing and commits you to nothing.
- Can my family build a Legacy Page?
- Yes. Every dedication includes a private Legacy Page. You can invite relatives as editors, contributors or viewers, and everything they add stays pending until you approve it.
- Can we download our memories?
- Yes. You can download a complete archive of your Legacy Page at any time, including photographs, written answers, voice recordings and the family tree, plus an accessible PDF of the page itself.
- Can I visit?
- Not yet. We are not hosting visitors and we do not accept payment or confirm reservations for visits. Tell us you would like to and we will contact you when visits become possible.
- What happens if the tree needs replacement?
- If your dedicated tree does not survive during the five-year dedication we replace it when agriculturally appropriate, keep your dedication, Tree ID and plaque, notify you, and share an updated photograph when available.
- What happens if the membership or dedication ends?
- We never delete your family's content without warning. You receive advance notices, a grace period, and the ability to download your full archive throughout. Your Legacy Page becomes private rather than disappearing.
- How is my certificate delivered?
- Your dedication certificate is delivered digitally as a downloadable, print-quality PDF carrying the honoree's name, the permanent Tree ID and a verification number. We do not mail printed certificates.
